REDCOM Design & Construction Team Leader Guests On Commercial Construction Industry Show
Magdalena Krejza, Senior Architect and Team Leader at REDCOM Design & Construction, was a guest on ‘Commercial Construction Coffee Talk’.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) March 20, 2024 - Magdalena Krejza, Senior Architect and Team Leader at REDCOM Design & Construction, was a guest on ‘Commercial Construction Coffee Talk’. REDCOM Design & Construction is a commercial design-build engineering, architecture and construction company.
In a wide-ranging conversation with Host David Corson, Magdalena discussed her role at REDCOM during the COVID pandemic. She stated, “We were lucky to transfer to remote. The IT department jumped in and set everyone up. Our construction jobs didn't shut down. We managed to remain open and move forward.” She recalls how many companies had to close or reduce their staffs and jobs dramatically in comparison to REDCOM. Since the pandemic, REDCOM has remained flexible in allowing employees to work remotely.
In regard to Women in Construction Week, which ran this year from March 3 to March 9, Magdalena touched upon her experiences as a woman working in a predominantly male field. Over the past 10 years, she believes the construction world is “still male dominated… yet I see a lot more women in construction now. Women are working as carpenters, painters, etc. We are definitely changing the whole dynamic of construction and architecture.”
According to Ryan Teicher, REDCOM CEO, “I am proud to be at the helm of a company where women hold numerous leadership positions in an industry in which that’s not typically the case. REDCOM provides opportunities for exceptional people as we pursue our mission of supporting our clients’ long-term success.”
