Red Lion Education signed agreement with 30 institutes to set up international vocational education alliance
The Red Lion alliance, with the combination of Sino-foreign cooperation and capital, has integrated the global advanced experience and has the ability to scale and cultivate talents with international vision and practical skills.
- (1888PressRelease) November 02, 2017 - Initiated by the Hong Kong Red Lion Global Education Group, 30 overseas vocational institutes and Boill Holding Group signed to join the ” Belt and Road International Vocational Education Alliance of Red Lion ” (hereinafter referred to as the “Red Lion Alliance”) in the former site of China Vocational Education Association in Shanghai. Apart from the signing ceremony, the event marked that the Red Lion Group officially entered the China mainland and was also a salon for the international vocational schools. In addition, cooperation of the schools at home and abroad, resources sharing, the latest industry model, complete solution of vocational education were discussed.
According to the signing parties, Education + is the development philosophy of the Red Lion Alliance”. With “Integrating the world, Connecting with the future” as the theme, the event aims to drive the global development of vocational education with new models and ideas using the resources at home and abroad.
The attending parties included international government representatives, domestic and overseas vocational colleges and well-known enterprises, who greatly facilitated the communication across the academia and industry. Zhou Hanmin, Director of the China Vocational Education Association and Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), representatives of the Belt and Road and presidents of the overseas institutes were present at the event, including delegates from Czech embassy and Singapore Vocational Association, and 17 representatives from overseas schools, such as POTOMAC, LAURUS, CALVERT, KENT, MEGA, IMPACT, INSIGHT, ELITE ENGLISH, and TORRENS.Participants also included Ping An Trust, EY, Boill Holding, Aier Eye Hpspital and Beijing Culture and other 16 enterprises; as well as the local education institutions including Shanghai Business School, Shanghai Commercial Accounting School, Shanghai Industry And Commerce College and other 12 institutions. Meanwhile, the event also discussed university-enterprise cooperation in film and television production, medical care, digital information, e-commerce, industrial manufacturing, modern service industry.
