  • Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) April 06, 2013 - Recycle Away and its sister company, Trash Cans Warehouse, are pleased to announce the unveiling of custom-designed recycling containers for the 2013 Men's Final Four basketball tournament. The event, held in Atlanta, Georgia April 6-8, will feature recycling containers provided by the two companies in and around the Georgia Dome.

Tournament organizers contracted with the Recycle Away and Trash Cans Warehouse, along with officials from the Georgia World Congress Center Authority and Coca Cola Recycling to design the containers. Their goal -- to make Atlanta the 'greenest' NCAA tournament yet by decreasing environmental impact.

Forty custom steel recycling containers supplied by Recycle Away and Trash Cans Warehouse have been placed throughout Centennial Olympic Park, the site of the 2013 NCAA Big Dance Concert Series on April 6 and the Capital One Jam Fest featuring the Dave Matthews Band, Sting and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals on April 7.

The Landscape Series 34 Gallon Perforated Recycling Container with Domed Lid is designed to collect aluminum, plastic, paper, and glass generated by attendees throughout the events. These green recycling bins include Coca Cola's "Take it Back" recycling logo, as well as an opening specially designed for single-stream recycling.

Recycle Away and Trash Cans Warehouse also supplied 150 customized special event recycling containers to increase recycling during the Men's Final Four. These light-weight recycling containers, made from corrugated plastic, were customized specifically for the Men's Final Four, and incorporate the NCAA Final Four recycling logo.

"We are honored to supply recycling containers for the 2013 NCAA Men's Final Four," says Michael Alexander, president of Recycle Away and Trash Cans Warehouse. "These unique recycling bins will be placed at high-profile locations throughout Final Four events, including Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Dome."

Alexander adds, "[Our companies] were selected by Coca Cola and the Georgia World Congress Center Authority as the supplier for these containers based on our unique capability to provide custom branded recycling containers with clear graphics and restricted openings that adhere to best practices for public space recycling."
