Reasons 2 Rhyme Presents the First Show of the Series, I Am History
Reasons 2 Rhyme presents the first show of the 2011 series, I Am History on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Dana Auditorium located on the campus of Guilford College. This show is FREE and open to the public.
- Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point, NC (1888PressRelease) February 03, 2011 - This is the 7th annual black history program sponsored by Guilford College. This year's show, I Am History speaks to the history people make daily by touching the lives of others through their actions and decisions. This show is fused with the power of spoken word, live music and dance; fans will experience poetry in a way they have never seen it before.
"This year's show is about how the present creates our future," says Josephus III, creator and host of Reasons 2 Rhyme. "The show is a live concert that speaks to the very heart of who we are and who we need to become!"
The Dana Auditorium is located at 5800 W. Friendly Ave. on the campus of Guilford College. Admission is free and doors will open at 7:30 p.m.
Reasons 2 Rhyme
Reasons 2 Rhyme is a variety of events celebrating the art of poetry while connecting to the community. The series offers gatherings in a series of venues throughout the year that expand the opportunity for poetry to be seen, heard, and experienced.
