ReadCube Brings Enhanced Reading Experience to Nature.com
Launched just three weeks ago, ReadCube desktop reference manager is already being used by thousands of researchers at more than 300 institutions around the globe.
- (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2011 - Cambridge, MA Labtiva, Nature Publishing Group (NPG), and Digital Science announced today the integration of the ReadCube Web Reader with nature.com.
With the ReadCube Web Reader, nature.com users can now highlight and annotate article PDFs directly in the browser. Thanks to the new technology, references cited inside the article become "clickable" in the PDF, delivering a new kind of interactive reading experience.
"Integrating tools like ReadCube is part of our continued efforts to make nature.com an integral and efficient part of researchers' workflow," said Dan Pollock, Associate Director, nature.com.
The ReadCube Web Reader is a partner product to Labtiva's ReadCube desktop application. With the nature.com integration, researchers may now download article PDFs that they annotate on nature.com straight into their ReadCube libraries.
