We are compensated based upon successful media placements ( based on real “performance” of successful publication, broadcast, or posting of your story…not just the “setting up of an interview opportunity at a specified date and time.”), and not by hourly fees or large retainers based on such fees.
Building a brand image and creating momentum around it requires consistent planning, creativity, and the strategic integration of all the many tools and tactics of professional PR agency provides to drive the desired results. A one-shot media placement in a major outlet can be great, but it will largely have the impact of pyrotechnics on the Fourth of July; the wonderful burst of color disappears shortly in a grey haze and is largely forgotten in a day or two, if not hours.
