Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) October 15, 2008 - Raleigh, NC -- The team of exclusive Raleigh real estate buyer’s agents at Buyers Advantage Group have invited past, present, and future clients on a chartered bus tour of the Parade of Homes where they can sip champagne, rate new homes, and gawk at the hidden disasters of these showcase homes.

“In the past, we’ve had other people ask if they can get on our bus – I think it’s mostly for the champagne!” says Buyer’s Advantage Group agency cofounder Marge Bish

The team calls their version of the tour the “Parade of Homes 3D Tour,” where the 3 “D’s” stand for Designs, Decorations, and Disasters. Bish says that while many real estate agents and shoppers will visit the Parade of Homes to oogle at “the pretty things,” they are going for the purpose of evaluating property and learning things, not eye candy.

“Just because its a million dollar house, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have problems. We’ve seen million dollar homes with no caulk behind the sink and damage to roof and foundation structures. If the builder’s architect doesn’t properly understand larger square foot homes, it can be a mess. A lot of the houses over a million dollars have the potential to have a lot of damage,” explains Bish.

After each flagship home tour, the 40 person group will board the charted bus and talk about what they’ve just seen on the PA system, rate the homes, and engage in a questions and answers discussion.

The road trip will begin at 11:30 pm on October 18th. Guests will meet at the Buyer’s Advantage Group Realty office for a catered lunch before boarding the bus at 12:00 and returning at 4:00 pm.
