This open house is a chance to see how we create the two-wheeled works of art from concept to completion.
Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) January 13, 2015 - Renowned motorcycle custom shop Moto Motivo is holding its first ever open house Saturday January 24, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will be at Moto Motivo's workshop just off Glenwood Avenue, Highway 70, in Raleigh: 8621 Barefoot Industrial Road, Raleigh, NC 27617.
For the first time, Moto Motivo owner, Johann Keyser, is opening his doors for the public to get a rare insight into the exciting and creative world of motorcycle customization. "Most folks just get to see our finished bikes," said Mr. Keyser, "The open house is a chance to see how we create the two-wheeled works of art from concept to completion."
Moto Motivo is renowned locally and in the national press for its award-winning café racer style custom motorcycles. Many of the company's projects begin as "barn finds". Keyser's unique insight and skill takes these "basket cases" and transforms them into stylish, high performance machines that are sought after by enthusiasts and collectors. Other bikes created by Keyser are high end machines tailored to the customer's specific requirements.
Attendees of events such as Raleigh Eurobike and Durham's Bull City Rumble may be familiar with Moto Motivo's stunning motorcycles, but few have had the opportunity to see the works in progress. According to Mr. Keyser, the open shop will help motorcycle enthusiasts appreciate the dedication, craftsmanship, and quality of materials that goes into the shop's creations.
Visitors will get to see Moto Motivo's collection of more than 20 motorcycles, including project bikes to be started, works in progress and finished motorcycles. The bikes on show include Keyser's award-winning models notably several custom Ducatis, a Honda CX500, a BMW and a Vyrus, a spectacular $70,000 motorcycle.
Admission to the event is free, and includes door prizes, refreshments, seating and the opportunity to network with fellow custom motorcycle enthusiasts and to meet one of the country's leading custom motorcycle creators.
