Rajkumar Ghosh takes over as Director (Refineries) of IndianOil
IndianOil's cross-country network of crude Oil and product pipelines is spread over 10,000 Km. The Corporation handles the largest network of petrol and diesel stations in the country.
- (1888PressRelease) September 10, 2011 - Mr. Rajkumar Ghosh has taken over as the Director [Refineries] of the only Indian Fortune 100 Company, IndianOil. He takes over from Mr. B N Bankapur who superannuated on 31st August, 2011. Mr. Ghosh was employed as Executive Director (In-charge) at the Refineries Headquarters at New Delhi. Prior to his posting in Delhi he was Executive Director (I/C) at the most up to date PSU refinery of the homeland at Panipat and was to blame for all purposes of the Refinery, Naphtha Cracker and other downstream polymer units. Mr. Ghosh directed the commissioning of Panipat Refinery Expansion from 12 to 15 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) and India's biggest Naphtha Cracker which escorted in a new era of developed development in Haryana.
A graduate in Chemical Engineering from I.I.T. Kharagpur, Mr Ghosh has over three decades of know-how to his borrowing in Hydrocarbon Industry. He has worked in diverse places at Barauni, Mathura, Haldia, Guwahati and Panipat Refineries as well as at Refineries Headquarters in New Delhi. In supplement to this, he effectively directed the commissioning groups of more than 15 method flats encompassing RFCC, Hydrocracker, Diesel Hydro Desulphurisation Unit, CCRU, Catalytic De-waxing Unit for Lube output and MS Quality Improvement Units. He was furthermore affiliated with the Design and Engineering of the first Hydrocracker Unit in the homeland at Gujarat Refinery.
Mr. Ghosh who will be heading the Refineries Division of the biggest refiner of the homeland is renowned for his mechanical information, dynamic authority and clarity of vision.
