The awards are sponsored by Cathay Pacific, Wells Fargo and the Asian Business Association.

    According to the Los Angeles Business Journal, finalists were selected based on companies within the Asian American business community who are setting an example for excellence throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. The 2012 nominees and winners will be revealed at an awards luncheon on July 25th at The Omni Hotel in downtown and will be published in an upcoming issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal.

    In 2010, Rainier de Ocampo co-founded Forte- The Collective with business partner Mark Quest. Previously, de Ocampo held senior level marketing positions with the Los Angeles Film & Recording Schools, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and recognized manufacturers/distributors in the automotive aftermarket and healthcare industries.
