Rainbow Foods Gives Back With New Kids Club
Rainbow Foods to present donation to National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) April 25, 2013 - Mighty Kids Media and Rainbow Foods stores will be presenting a check to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children this Thursday, April 25, 2013. The donation of $8000 was raised in conjunction with the launch of the Burble and Friends Kids Club just over a month ago. Accepting the check on behalf of the organization is Patty Wetterling, the Chairman of the Board for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The check presentation will take place at the Rainbow Foods store in Eden Prairie, at 970 Prairie Center Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 at 10:30 am.
During the first four weeks of the kids club launch, Rainbow Foods stores accepted donations from customers for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The efforts of hardworking cashiers, like Terralynn Pierce, who has been with the company for over 20 years, helped to bring in a substantial portion of the donations.
Parents also had the option to complete a Child ID kit for emergency situations when they signed their child up for the Burble and Friends Kids Club. The program was created to help SuperEmpower children to make smart choices and stay healthy. To sign up for the Kids Club, visit burbleandfriends.com.
