Radio Personality Pushes "Love N Limbo A Cafe Skype Documentary" and Re-loads Film Fund-raiser at Kickstarter For August 30th Deadline
After the successful late rush of funding in mid-July as their first sixty-day campaign, "Cafe` Skpe" wound-down, the growing IMIJ Produckshunz team was blessed by Kickstarter.com to be able to try again. This time with a lower monetary goal and shorter time frame to raise funds for part of their budged via crowdsourcing/drowd-funding in order to complete the short message movie.
- (1888PressRelease) July 31, 2011 - Nashville, Tennessee - Author, Radio Personality Re-Loads Funding For Immigration and Passport Rule-Related Docu-Film, "Love N Limbo A Cafe` Skype Story". With only twenty-nine days to go to achieve their goal, long-time radio personality Jimi "Cheetah" Bruce and his production team have grown and still excited to achieve funding for the movie "Love N Limbo - A Cafe` Skype Story" http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cafeskype/the-love-n-limbo-cafe-skype-documentary. Bruce is again using all of his marketing ideas under one umbrella and needs backers on all levels for his latest project .
"We had late momentum for the other campaign and feel we can transcend it into this new one," he said of the effort. "I know that someone or something will bless us and allow fulfillment of this film and we learned how to do it better this time all the way around from the video to the rewards!"He mused. "Crowdsourcing is a great way to get part of your budget funded these days, and we remind potential backers that nothing is charged to your card unless we achieve full funding." Endorsed by videographer and creator of www.candidcareer.com, Billy Glading, newcomer Nate Scullen and others daily "love N Limbo..." is a teaching lesson for governments who over-zealously seem to unevenly make it more difficult for international people to travel and get-together. "I think [we] have something that people can relate to, and would enjoy watching..." Glading commented."
The story depicts the odyssey and travails of Nina & Naphtali who see their imminent plans for a second in-person meeting within the past year postponed indefinitely when, in-addition to the cold-war-style Ukraine visa rules, Naphtali's home state pulls-out "interest"on a decades-old old tax that he had paid-in-full, to block his first-ever passport to travel, marry her and work overseas. The disappointment to both characters is heartbreaking. How they overcome it is heart-warming.
"These are not some young kids, this is a middle-aged couple who connected long enough to exchange e-mail addresses in the spring of 2010, in a supermarket during Nina's only brief visit to the U.S.A, who used Skype, the newest tool in on-line communication to solidify their mutual attraction so successfully that they named it a "Cafe" where they met several times weekly." Jimi explains.
The IMIJ Produckshunz shop looks to build upon the $111.00 they garnered in July immediately. Backers are sought for the expense of traveling to complete the project by filming of the final scene as well as an additional passport for the camera person, overnight stay and post-production editing back in America.
