(1888PressRelease) May 09, 2012 - Rachel Galley has designed a beautiful new addition to The Globe range in anticipation of the upcoming Diamond Jubilee. The stunning necklace is the height of opulent luxury, featuring 360° diamond pave adorning an 18ct white gold pendant.

Rachel's trademark lattice work forms the spherical shape of the pendant, encrusted with diamonds to the whole outer surface. The 11mm design is expected to retail at £2,500 to £3,000, while the 2cm sphere is estimated at £5,500.

The piece marks an exploration into new materials for Rachel, and is timed perfectly to coincide with the upcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The Globe was Galley's first ever collection and a favourite of hers, so she deemed it as the perfect choice to re-work in diamonds to mark the fast approaching Jubilee event.

Rachel is working on a variety of new colour combinations, including yellow gold and citrines, as well as earrings, rings and bracelets to compliment the diamond necklace. She is also offering the option for customers to commission a piece from the range in the stones and a metal of their choosing.

The stunning Globe necklace will be will be showcased in June for the first time at Somerset House at The Jewellery Show, during London Jewellery week.

Rachel Galley is an exciting, award winning young jeweller, who graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2004. Her jewellery is innovative and creative, with hidden compartments and containers, making each piece interactive and personal to the wearer.

Galley made it to the final of the UK Retail jewellery awards for Young Designer of the Year in 2008, and received a Coutts London Jewellery Week New Jewellers Award in 2009.
