Rabits & Romano Architecture to design Peace House Assisted Living at ShantiNiketan Retirement Community
Rabits & Romano Architecture has been awarded a design and architecture assignment for the new Peace House Assisted-Living facility in Tavares.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) May 28, 2014 - Peace House will be located in the ShantiNiketan Retirement Community.
Peace House will include two stand-alone buildings of 24,000 square feet each. The complex will have 64 private rooms. Key features include a covered entry, two dining areas and two living rooms in each building, nurse's stations, a beauty salon, as well as patio gazebos and extensive landscaping around the building site.

Design work of the expansion is now underway, and construction is expected to start July 1, 2014. The Peace House expansion is scheduled to be completed by early 2015. Rabits & Romano has partnered with the ShantiNiketan retirement communities for the last five years. The three communities are currently home for more than 150 residents, with an additional 32 units under construction.
