Rabits & Romano Architecture Designs New Assisted Living Facility In Tavares
Assisted living project is a conversion of a three-story hotel.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) November 06, 2014 - The former Regency Inn will find new life as Regency Park, a multi-story assisted living and memory care facility serving more than 85 residents.
Rabits & Romano Architecture has been awarded the design and architecture for the 35,000 square foot project. The new senior residence is developed and owned by Excellence Assisted Living Facilities. Design and construction documents for Regency Park located on 15000 Burleigh Blvd, Tavares are completed and construction is underway. The facility is slated to open in early 2015.
Architect Bob Rabits noted the multiple floors will facilitate several design elements. "We will put in more nurses stations, dining areas and living rooms to accommodate the multistory features. However, this redevelopment will make excellent use of the old Inn. We have extensive experience with multistory assisted living facilities and Regency Park should be a wonderful improvement for the community," Rabits said.
The new Regency Park will include:
- An expanded entrance and lobby with covered entry
- New commercial kitchen
- State-of-the-art living facilities with beauty salon, dining areas, laundry
- Extensive gardens and landscaping including a gazebo.
Rabits explained the design mission is to create efficient, yet elegant residences at Regency Park.
