Rabits & Romano Architecture Completes Design of Cottage Landing Senior Assisted Living Facility
Construction now underway for expansion.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) January 15, 2014 - Rabits & Romano Architecture, Planning and Design has completed design on Cottage Landing Senior Living, a Memory Care Facility.
The 14,963 sq. foot expansion includes a new stand-alone building that will have 20 memory care rooms which increases the occupancy by 36 residents.
Cottage Landing Living Facility, located at 150 Cottage Lane Carrollton, GA, is a place where residents enjoy assistance when required, and freedom when desired.
The facility will include these new design features:
• Covered entry and patio
• Large dining and living room
• Nurse station
• Spa and salon
• Laundry room
• Prep area
• Yards
• Landscaping
"The challenging part of this project was to create a building that has an 'at home' feel while including communal spaces to promote interaction,'' said Bob Rabits, founder of Rabits & Romano. "The large, modernized dining and living room will give the residents an area to socialize with one another.''
Rabits & Romano is working with the fine team from Florida Engineering Group and kitchen consulting by Gene Kaplan from R.E.D.I. . Groundbreaking took place this past December. Construction is being headed up by MedPro Contractors.
