The distinctive timeless elegance epitomized by Weston's cosmopolitan woman style has acquired a new depth that delves into personal emotions, embracing and bringing them to a new level of maturity and intensity.
Reene Weston was born in Kitwe, Zambia. The beauty of nature and the glorious savannah landscapes molded her childhood sensitivity and inspired her fashion vision.
After schooling in England for most of her teenage and adult life, Weston spent time in Japan, India, China and the USA where each culture contributed to her innate taste, creating a new and unique sense of style.
She spent five years working in banking before relocating to Canada in 2004. There she opened her first clothing boutique, carrying high-end kids' brands and then launched her own label creating modern designs for children wear. The brand was locally successful and known for its originality.
From 2006 to 2008 Weston lived in Modena, Italy where she opened a specialty shop for children and started sketching designs for ladies-wear. Her dream was finally taking shape. She had always wanted to create a line for women that combined elegance, individuality and practicality.
On returning to England in 2008, she founded Reene.Co, a company which distributes international brands as well as her own creations under the label R by Reene Weston.
With an eye for detail and the purity of her sketches, Weston's collection tells a captivating story of fashion; versatile pieces that stand the test of time in terms of style and quality.
The complete collection will be exhibited at Pret a Porter, Paris from 22nd to 25th January 2011; Pure London Olympia from 13th to 15th February 2011, Milan Moda, Milan from 16th to 18th March as well as at her private show room during London Fashion Week.
