- (1888PressRelease) April 20, 2018 - Minneapolis: Qumu, the leading provider of best-in-class video technology for the enterprise, has been named by Frost & Sullivan as the 2018 Competitive Strategy, Innovation and Leadership Award winner in the Global Enterprise Video Platforms space. As part of the award process, Qumu will be honored at Frost & Sullivan’s annual black tie Awards Gala in July of 2018, along with award recipients from a variety of other technology segments.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized as the strategy, innovation and leadership award winner by a globally influential research firm like Frost & Sullivan,” said Vern Hanzlik, President and CEO of Qumu. “I’d like to thank Frost & Sullivan for recognizing our efforts as a company over the last 12 months, as well as the entire Qumu staff for their relentless effort and dedication. Qumu has the best team in the industry, and awards like this are confirmation of our continued commitment to the enterprise video space.”
To determine the winner of the Competitive Strategy, Innovation and Leadership Award, Frost & Sullivan analysts independently evaluated 20 enterprise video firms against ten criteria—Strategy Effectiveness, Strategy Execution, Competitive Differentiation, Executive Team Alignment, Stakeholder Integration, Price/Performance Value, Customers Purchase Experience, Customer Ownership Experience, Customer Service Experience and Brand Equity. Qumu’s average score among these ten criteria was a 9.25 out of 10, which Frost & Sullivan rated as “Excellent.”
“Qumu’s growth strategy involves empowering enterprises to adapt to evolving audience behaviors, deliver video across all networks, and reach all constituents and stakeholders—regardless of their device or endpoint configuration,” said Anisha Vinny, Frost & Sullivan’s industry analyst for the Digital Media and Communication Technology practice. “The company’s strong brand reputation, laser-like focus on business video, commitment to the Global 2000 and true end-to-end solution make it the enterprise video platform of choice across a variety of verticals including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Business Services, Telecommunications, Technology and Life Sciences.”
