In his new role, Torhorst will continue to oversee the information technology department implementing new strategies to increase productivity, analyzing technology trends and IT tools tailored to the needs and requirements of the financial and insurance industries, as well as keeping internal equipment and technologies above industry standard. In addition, Torhorst will upgrade established systems and create cutting edge products and solutions to enhance the user friendly experience for Quest CE clients and employees.

Since joining Quest CE in July 2005, Torhorst created two proprietary technology solutions that allow Quest CE products to be operated effectively: Renaissance and QuestTrak. Renaissance, Quest CE's Learning Management System, launched in 2008 and is currently operating on version 3.6. The system allows clients to manage their firm element training and tracking programs. QuestTrak, Quest CE's insurance CE administration tool, was created in 2006 and has since launched its latest version QuestTrak 4.0. QuestTrak offers a greater intuitive experience to increase the efficiency of clients who schedule, track and administer continuing education seminars for their financial and insurance professionals.
