Queen Rania Center For Entrepreneurship & Intel Organize Workshops To Train Instructors At Jordanian Universities
Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE), in collaboration with Intel Corporation, has organized three specialized workshops designed to train faculty members teaching entrepreneurship in Jordanian universities.

Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE), in collaboration with Intel Corporation, has organized three specialized workshops designed to train faculty members teaching entrepreneurship in Jordanian universities.
The 3 workshops, which were attended by 49 faculty members from 14 Jordanian universities, focused on entrepreneurship teaching, ways to support it at Jordanian universities and encouraging entrepreneurial thinking among university students.
It is noteworthy that these courses came in the context of Intel's program to support entrepreneurship in the region. The international corporation has provided all educational resources, including teaching guides, along with presentations, videos and case studies of entrepreneurs.
Commenting on the workshops, QRCE Executive Director Farhan Kalaldeh said: "These workshops came within the framework of the strategic partnership between QRCE and Intel Corporation, which aims to develop a culture of entrepreneurship in the academia and the Jordanian universities. We would also like to thank U.S. Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) for their support of the center's activities in the governorates, which helped us to organize various workshops and activities at Jordanian Universities in the north and the south."
For her part, Rula Habash, Intel Corporate Affairs Manager Levant and North Africa said: "Intel aims at supporting entrepreneurship in the Arab World through developing partnerships with leading national entrepreneurship organizations such as Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE). To build the local capacity for innovation, Intel provides entrepreneurship curriculum and workshops for professors in universities around the world. Such curriculum was localized in cooperation with QRCE and was delivered to 50 university professors from 14 universities in Jordan. Intel also sponsors a global and regional business plan competitions - Intel Global Challenge- to reward ideas with potential to be viable businesses and make a positive impact on society. The competitions provide mentorship to students as they gain experience building business plans to bring innovative technologies to market"
Established in 2004, QRCE aims to develop and support entrepreneurship in Jordan. It is affiliated and an integral part of the El Hassan Science City and iPark. QRCE develops entrepreneurship in Jordan through its technology entrepreneurship initiative, launched via the support of the MEPI, Intel, and Arab Potash Company. The initiative focuses on networking, raising awareness, training, and support in several governorates.
