Wilson Electronics' 4G AWS Cell Booster is the first signal-improving device to enter the 4G market, providing "more bars" for T-Mobile users.

Cell phone signal boosters for the 850MHz and 1900MHz bands have proliferated the market in recent years, offering improved signal strength, fewer dropped calls and faster data speeds to individuals in rural parts of the country or other areas that struggle with poor reception. Until now, however, no cellular amplifiers have been designed to function on the AWS 1700MHz frequency, a band owned primarily by T-Mobile.
