- (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2015 - Quanmax's KEEX-5100 Series is a series of industrial grade SBCs in a 3.5" Intel® Embedded Compact Extended form factor, based on 4th Generation Intel® Haswell ULT Core™ i3/i5/i7 Processors. It supports three LAN ports and is an ideal solution for industrial applications that require reliable network performance or multiple network fabrics.
Excellent Processing / Graphics Performance & Energy Efficiency
KEEX-5100 Series adapts 4th Generation Intel® Haswell ULT Core™ i3/i5/i7 Processors built on 22nm process technology. It allows system integrators to easily build a high-performance system without fear of heating issues. With Intel® HD Graphics 4400 GPU integrated, it also provides possibilities for multimedia applications.
More LAN Ports Supported
KEEX-5100 Series supports three GbE LAN ports and gives more flexibility to allocate and manage network resources. It is thus suitable for the applications that require reliable network performance or multiple network fabrics to ensure higher uptime or resiliency, such as network redundancy. In addition, one of its mPCIe slots supports SIM card holder optionally to provide additional options for WLAN and 3G/4G wireless connection.
Low Profile Design
KEEX-5100 Series integrates 3x LAN, 2x DP and 4x USB3.0 on the rear in a low-profile design. Besides, the processor is mounted on the soldering side of the motherboard, which allows developers to simplify heat dissipation design by attaching a heatsink between the processor and the rear of chassis without complicated cooling device. Both architectures enable developers to easily realize a compact and even slim system. Furthermore, it supports additional 2x USB2.0, 2x COM and 2x mPCIe slot on board for peripheral or functional extensibility to meet target vertical application development needs.
Resistant to Extreme Temperatures
Some models of the Series (KEEX-510T, -510A, -510B) have excellent thermal design and are capable of operating in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 70°C. They can facilitate system integrators to quickly and easily develop a system that is often exposed to extreme high, low or radically fluctuating temperatures.
