Quality Floors Direct gives back to fallen troops through the Home for our Troops program.
Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) February 19, 2010 - Boston MA area hardwood flooring company had the privilege and the honor to recently supply over 2,500 sq ft of hardwood flooring to a wounded war veteran who recently had come home from Afghanistan. The Homes for our Troops project supplies a variety of home building materials to war veterans who might have a hard time providing in their current state due to a disability caused from the war.
SSG Michael Downing from Middleboro, MA was wounded very badly during his second tour in duty in the Afghanistan war. Quality Floors Direct was more than happy to participate in the Home for our Troops program and play their part in offering a helping hand to one of our disabled veterans. Quality Floors Direct is a Boston MA area hardwood flooring and tile supplier for residential and business uses. Quality Floors Direct was also able to flex their muscles a bit and pull together a talented team of gifted contractors to help with the full installation of the new hardwood flooring for SSG Michael Downing.
Everyone got together and donated their time and resources to helping the wounded soldier fix up his home. Communities all over have many wounded soldiers and programs like these really help in providing the essentials to a wounded hero that might not be in a position to be able to provide these types of items for his or her family due to a war related injury. DriTac Adhesive was also kind enough to get involved with the project and happily provided all the adhesive that was used to install all the hardwood flooring for SSG Michael Downing.
Everyone realized the importance and symbolism behind helping the solider and really took the time and pulled together to make this project happen for this individual. Events like this really pull the community together by bringing everyone closer and doing something for a really good cause.
