QRwave uses QR codes technology to take B2B ecommerce to the next level
QRwave uses QR codes technology to streamline B2B ordering process. It is a mobile app / web service combo that allows authorized company employees to place an order by simply scanning item's QR code.
- (1888PressRelease) July 18, 2012 - AHG, Inc. announced a launch of QRwave - mobile app / web services combo that allows authorized employees to place restocking orders by simply scanning item's QR code. Application can communicate with vendor's e-commerce system to authenticate users, get custom prices and shipping charges, and post order to vendor's e-commerce system when an order is submitted. QRwave can also serve as a standalone ordering system.
QRwave helps companies to keep supply chain at goldilocks temperature: ensure that there are sufficient components in stock to meet production needs without incurring expedited shipping charges and without building excessive and potentially redundant inventory. With QRwave, an authorized company employee can place restocking order as soon as he notices that supplies are running low. The employee does not need to be in the office or in front of the computer, or have internet connection. The order can be placed on the spot: in the field, in the warehouse, on the factory floor. No need to remember web site address, vendor information or product name, line item code, or other specifics -- everything is included in the QR code. All you need to do to place an order is to scan QR code and enter quantity.
Vendors can simplify their customers' procurement by putting QR codes on product containers, or on the equipment to streamline ordering of supplies. They can also place QR codes in the catalogs and tradeshow literature to simplify ordering process for new and existing clients.
More information and fully functional demo of the system are available at http://qrwave.ahg.com.
