Announcing the launch of a new product release. Release 5.2 includes support for more browsers and ALM platforms as well as performance enhancements and some UI improvements.
- (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2012 - Qmetry, a premier provider of total test management solutions announced solid revenue and customer growth in Q1, 2012. Revenue grew by 100% over the previous quarter and customer base grew by 30% in the same period. Qmetry attracted a large number of new customers, and increased demand from existing customers for its flagship test management application.
Additionally, Qmetry launched Release 5.2 - the latest version of its award-winning test management platform. The new release includes support for IE9 and for the Rally community edition. The software now includes upgraded LAMP and XAMP packages as well as an updated Jasper version that improves the reporting capabilities in the software. Further there is better support for non-English languages through improved UTF-8 capabilities and improvements in the UI for reordering and sorting fields.
Through this release, Qmetry is also addressing the market needs of strong integration with defect tracking systems. Qmetry 5.2 includes better integration with the market leading defect management platform, JIRA, including beta compatibility with JIRA 5.0; as well as rectifying a bug that previously prevented linking to FogbugZ at customer sites that have invalid SSL certificates.
"Qmetry 5.2 is the next step towards developing a more mature test management platform that meets the needs of Enterprises of all sizes and in different geographies" said David Silva, product manager of Qmetry. "Most importantly we have focused on improving our integrations with popular defect tracking systems as this is a critical requirement in the test management space"
