- (1888PressRelease) June 12, 2013 - Only two Aberdeen takeaways made it through to the prestigious finals with Qismat winning both the North East Takeaway of the Year and Scottish Takeaway of the Year.
The awards recognise outstanding restaurants and takeaways throughout Scotland and the Take Away of the Year Award recognises and heartily comments those whose gastronomic delights grace the dining tables, the living rooms and the laps in Scotland's homes.
Qismat 2 is a family run business with a long history of providing fabulous food to the community. The take away was opened in 2011 as an offshoot of the family run restaurant Qismat and rapidly became one of the most popular takeaways in Aberdeen. The food is produced in an open kitchen and has the traditional Indian emphasis on healthy eating, balanced meals, fresh food and exciting dashes of spice. The quality of the food is complimented by the team's dedication to providing outstanding customer care.
