Q1 Productions Announces 2nd Annual eDiscovery for the Life Science Industry Conference
Enhancing eDiscovery Practices through Risk Mitigation, Implementing Strategies for Cost-Containment and Reducing Volume of Data for Preservation, Collection and Review.
- (1888PressRelease) December 20, 2011 - Chicago, IL - This winter, Q1 Productions brings together leaders from both the life science industries and legal professions to discuss advancements in internal company investigations. Held over February 27th and 28th in Jersey City, NJ, this year's conference will expand upon last year's focus on preparing for and utilizing eDiscovery tactics, paying special attention to streamlining investigations by taking advantage of most innovative resources and technologies.
Life science companies' involvement in suits is commonplace, dealing with patent issues, intellectual property protection or adherence to their several unique regulatory requirements. In best managing internal investigations, companies are increasingly turning to advanced eDiscovery techniques. Electronic investigative tools are allowing for faster, more comprehensive review of materials compared to traditional discovery tactics. This winter's event will cover a wide variety of issues pertaining to eDiscovery. Sessions over the two-day programming will include storing data in the cloud, discovery strategies for social media sites and tactics for the use of predictive coding, amongst others.
Following the success of last year's premiere Q1 eDiscovery for the Life Science Industry program, this event sheds light on newest updates to discovery strategies from notable presenting organizations like GlaxoSmithKline, Merck & Co. and U.S. judges. Programming will include traditional conference sessions, panel discussions as well as informal networking opportunities for most comprehensive knowledge share between attendees.
