Qatar National Broadband Network (Q.NBN) is the exclusive Gold Sponsor for the upcoming FTTx Middle East Summit. The summit will take place from the 27th of May until the 30th of May at the Oryx Rotana hotel in Doha.

Hosted in Qatar for the first time, FTTx Middle East summit will see ICT officials, IT Developers, and local and regional executives sharing and discussing the different benefits and aspects of the deployment of fiber optic networks.
Fiber optic networks are an essential commodity needed for a nation's development. Besides the ease of high-speed connectivity for business and recreational use, recent research studies have shown that broadband speed increases an economy's GDD by 0.3%.
Q.NBN, a shareholding company wholly owned by the government, is providing state-of-the-art fiber optic platforms to enable all licensed operators to connect through this infrastructure, thereby significantly enhancing their capability and coverage to offer voice, high-speed Internet access and other data services to their customers.
