Q-City hosts "Magic Of Mixing" session - a first of its kind event for Corporates and their employees

Magic of Mixing session comprised of a cake mixing ceremony with a twist.
As part of the plum cake making process for the festive season , cake mixing is usually done a month in advance with the ingredients of the mix left to marinate for nearly a month before the cake is baked. It is a tradition for hotels and bakeries to invite their guests for such mixing sessions. Q-City is one of the first corporate entities to organize such an event.
At Q-City, the cake mixing ceremony was conceptualized as a symbolic event to kick-start several activities that the Park will undertake during the course of the coming year. These activities form a platform for more than 8000 employees of various companies that are tenanted in Q-City to conceive, ideate, produce and perform as a community with no strings attached except having fun. Over 100 kgs of cakes will be baked from the mix which will be shared amongst the multiple corporate occupants at Q-City to greet the New Year.

The cake mixing activity is symbolic of our attempt, where many delectable ingredients with distinct identities come together to undergo a process of transformation to culminate into a beautiful treat. In a way it's having one's cake and eating it too'"
Magic of Mixing Session at Q-City:
Four teams of eight members each including four heads of different companies were given the task of going on a treasure hunt. The treasure in this case was the 11 ingredients that went into the mix for the cake. Through a series of clues the teams named as California Raisins, French Wine, English Berries and Turkish Dates; went around the cafeteria area in Q-City to answer few questions, once the treasure was located, the participants returned to the base with the ingredients found. The team that could crack the clues and got the treasure back first was adjudged winner.
The ingredients were then poured into huge mixing bins and the heads of different companies mixed the ingredients together to ensure the perfect recipe was prepared for making a magical cake.
More than 600 employees were witness to the event, while hundreds of other parkites were watching the LIVE streaming of the event inside the cafeteria. Employees of all companies cheered their colleagues' dash around the campus in search of ingredients and then mix all ingredients.
