Pyramyd Air runs successful grass-roots efforts to fight passage of California SB798
Pyramyd Air, the world's largest online airgun retailer, is running a hugely successful grass-roots effort to defeat SB798, an anti-gun bill currently before the California State legislature.

Senate Bill 798 was written and introduced by California legislator Senator Kevin de Leon and dictates that airguns and airsoft guns that bear a resemblance to firearms must be brightly colored or clear. Federal law already requires that airsoft guns have a quarter-inch blaze orange muzzle to distinguish them from firearm counterparts. While SB798 appears to supersede and possibly violate federal law and jurisdiction regarding the coloring of airsoft guns, the bill continues to gain momentum and is expected to be up for a vote very soon by the entire California State Assembly.
Pyramyd Air created a web page devoted to fighting the bill (http://www.pyramydair.com/SB798.shtml). Because of grave consequences if SB798 passes, Pyramyd Air is fighting the bill by asking shooters to sign their petition and to write directly to their California legislators. There are over 4,500 signatures on the petition as of publication of this press release, with hundreds more added daily.
