Consul General Hanatani will tour Purafil's on-site equipment and chemical plants and its state-of-the-art laboratories as well as discuss business endeavors with Purafil's team of experts. The Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta serves Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina, and Virginia.

    There's been an outpouring of humanitarian support since the natural disasters. The American Red Cross is among the nonprofit organizations accepting donations for the relief efforts in the Pacific. Kaydon Corporation (KDN), Purafil's parent company, established a partnership with the American Red Cross to provide a 100% match for each employee's contributions through June 1. Kaydon Corp.'s contribution, to date, totals more than $13,400.
