Puchstein Promotions Adds 2 More Vero Beach Shows to Schedule, August 17-19 and October 26-28
Each show will feature over 100 dealers carefully selected for their wide range of merchandise and their retro appeal.
- Vero Beach, FL (1888PressRelease) June 04, 2012 - Puchstein Promotions, long known as one of the premier antique show promoters in the country, is expanding its list of highly successful South Florida shows with the introduction of two new shows - the Vero Beach Antiques and Vintage Show! Don't miss either of these 2 exciting and innovative shows, August 17,18,19 and October 26,27,28 at the Indian River County Fairgrounds.
The extremely popular Vero Beach Winter Antiques Extravaganza has consistently drawn huge crowds of avid antique shoppers and attracts high quality dealers from across the US and Canada. Now, Kay and Bill Puchstein plan to capitalize on this winning combination with the addition of two new shows to round out their show schedule. These shows will cater to a younger, hipper market looking for artwork, vintage collectibles and retro decorative items.
"These two new shows have been created to bring year-round collecting to Indian River County" notes Kay Puchstein, the engaging and entertaining show promoter. "In South Florida, there are shows nearly every weekend in the "season" but when the snowbirds go home, our loyal customers are left waiting until next winter for a show." These two new shows will help fill that void.
Show dates will be August 17, 18, 19 and October 26, 27, 28 at the Indian River County Fairgrounds. Each show will feature over 100 dealers carefully selected for their wide range of merchandise and their retro appeal. Of course, seasoned antique collectors will still find unique one-of-a-kind items from the 18th and 19th century, but these two new shows will have a distinctly 20th century vibe. Show goers will find everything from Art Deco jewelry to mid-century Highwaymen paintings, from vintage lamps and lighting to collectible ephemera, industrial items, advertising signs, pottery, porcelain, toys and vintage clothing and purses. All dealers will be set up indoors, in the air conditioned Expo Hall for cool, comfortable shopping.
Bill Puchstein, the other half of this popular husband and wife team, states "these shows will be especially popular among families. Antique shows are not just for your Grandmother anymore! At the new Antiques and Vintage Shows, children are welcome and encouraged to ask questions. In fact, children 16 and under are admitted free!"
Vero locals should plan to bring the entire family. What better way to introduce your children and grandchildren to a hobby that will bring them a lifetime of investing? Introducing youngsters to collecting -- be it coins or action figures -- can ignite a passion that will last their entire lives. Shopping antiques and collectibles shows can be fun for the entire family. Mom and Grandma can search for estate jewelry, Grandma's silver pattern, sewing notions or souvenir china. Dad and Grandpa can hunt for fishing lures, antique tools, golf clubs or antique books and instruments. Teenage girls love vintage hats, handbags and clothing, costume jewelry and quirky collectibles. Teenage boys love to search for military items, weapons, postcards and action figures. Even the youngest collectors can search through dolls, marbles, antique toys and buttons, many of which can be purchased for under a dollar.
Each show will open for Early Buying at Noon on Friday with a $10 admission ticket and is good for the entire weekend. General admission is $6 with show hours on Saturday from 9 - 5 and Sunday 9-4. As always, there will be great food available, jewelry repair on site and free parking.
The Indian River County Fairgrounds is located off I-95 via State Road 60 exit 147. Go east to 58th Avenue, turn left and continue 8 miles north to the fairgrounds. For more information about the two new "Antiques and Vintage Shows" in Vero Beach contact Kay Puchstein at 941-697-7272
