Public Event Tackles Problems Related to Aging

(1888PressRelease) June 10, 2014 - Middlebury, IN - Firefly Home Care LLC will host an exhibit titled "Aging in Place: a fun and educational exhibit for family caregivers and individuals" at its office located at 100 S. Main Street in Middlebury during the Third Friday event on June 20. The event is free and open to the public and will take place from 5 to 7 pm.

According to Amy Manifold, RN, owner of Firefly Home Care LLC, the exhibit will feature activities and opportunities for participants to find answers to common questions about caring for themselves or others in old age, including: "What does it take for a disabled or aging individual to remain safe and well at home?"; "Who cares for the individual and in what ways?"; "Who pays for all the needed care?"; and "What estate or legal concerns do I need to be aware of?"

Participants will also have opportunities to speak with local professionals, including Paul D. Eash, Attorney at Law specializing in elder law and estate planning issues, Cindy Danster, Customer Advocate at IU Goshen Home Medical, Home Care & Hospice, as well as Amy Manifold and her husband, Larson Manifold, co-owner of Firefly Home Care LLC.
