In it's own corner of the small, yet bustling capital city of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg's Midtown Tavern is on a mission to bring the people good, original music you just can't find anywhere else in the city, on a consistent basis.

Originating in Mississippi and making way to Harrisburg, PA, the Cornlickers are going to be moving the crowd with their lively and hypnotic style, this Saturday night, November 20th, at the Midtown Tavern, 1101 N. 2nd St in the Capital City. The free show starts at 10pm. This is a 21+ event.
The Cornlickers have a very warm, driving sound that makes you want to move to the music. After only a few short minutes of listening, there is no doubt this band has a knack to perform and a talent that can't be denied, even if Blues-Roots isn't your preference.
Since March of last year, the Midtown Tavern has booked all original and talented acts, not only from Harrisburg, but from around Pennsylvania and the region at large. Bands have played a majority of the last 38 consecutive Saturdays, with few exceptions. The "Cover Free Live Music Saturdays" at Midtown has given a boost to the local scene in the city, for both the artists and community alike.
