A gift to Deloitte University from the Olympic Committee, these inspiring photographs grace a grand hallway with images that epitomize the dream of many athletes and serve to motivate all who enter DFit. Mecca Design and Production, a boutique scenic element and services design/build group, was tasked with designing and building the unique installation for DFit in a space that is integral to the culture of DU. The photographs appear to float, hanging from aircraft cables in between a custom header and trough that frame the space. The images spotlight premier athletes at the Olympic Games competing in fencing, speed skating, gymnastics, track and field sports, water volleyball, and snow sports. Deloitte University has a long history with the US Olympic Committee (USOC) and has been a trusted advisor to their Executive Team as well as an integral part of setting long-term strategy and efficiency goals. With a similar sense of commitment to health and excellence, DFit motivates employees and guests to grow and thrive at Deloitte University and the 12,000 square foot fitness center in Southlake, Texas.
