Pronto Pasta Reveals Results Of Dine Out For Education Week Fundraiser And Competition
Locally Owned Restaurant Donates 15 Percent Of Sales To Local School PTAs From January Weeklong Fundraiser.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) February 26, 2011 - Jennifer and Ed Schrage, owners of locally operated Pronto Pasta (http://www.prontopasta.com), have announced that the restaurant raised a total of $534 for four local elementary schools' PTA programs during its first Dine Out for Education Week fundraiser and competition. Throughout the week of Jan. 24-29, students, families and faculty of Joyner, Conn, Root and Green elementary schools competed to bring in the most sales. Each school received a donation to its PTA programs of 15 percent of all sales brought in during the Dine Out week. Joyner Elementary School, which raised the most money during the event, will also receive a free catered lunch for its teaching staff during Teacher Appreciation Week in March. Second place winner Conn Elementary school will receive $50 in Pronto Pasta promotional certificates. The four participating elementary schools brought in a total of $3,562.56 in sales for the week.
