Project risk management and managing complex PPP infrastructure projects explored at SMi's Benelux Infrastructure Forum

Two key features of this year's programme are the half-day interactive workshops taking place alongside the conference.

Workshop A: Project risk management: Risk impact and lessons from Solvency II
Workshop leaders: Michiel van Klingeren, Senior Consultant Risk Finance and Roeland van der Zee, Senior Consultant from Aon

This workshop will provide attendees with the knowledge of several developments in the risk management, insurance and compliance areas. The leaders will explore the importance of risk impact perspective, scenario analysis and process description of risk profiling and stress testing.

Workshop B: Managing complex PPP infrastructure projects in Belgium and the Netherlands

Workshop leaders: Ciska Servais, Partner and Head of Real Estate and Dieter Veestraeten, Partner and Head of Banking and Finance Department from Astrea Law

The second workshop will be an invaluable opportunity for those attending to explore legal, regulatory and institutional issues revolving around complex infrastructure projects. This will include the role of governmental stakeholders and the differences between Belgium and the Netherlands.
