Project Audio Visual support their team member Nicole as she ran the 2013 Paris Marathon.
(1888PressRelease) November 21, 2015 - On April the 23rd, 2013, Project Audio Visual had a reason to celebrate one of their dedicated members of staff. Project Audio Visual are a leading online designer and retailer for audio visual and conferencing systems. Team member Nicole Olivier was running the Paris marathon to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of her late father, who suffered from the illness. The Paris International Marathon takes place every April, and has 37,000 participants, with many running on behalf of charities.
The Multiple Sclerosis Society is the UK's leading MS charity. They have been offering information and support to sufferers and their families since 1953. They fund research and campaign for change. Miss Olivier completed the marathon in five hours, and raised £517 for the MS Society, with one of Project Audio Visual's directors flying out to offer support and encouragement on the day.
"I ran the marathon for my dad, in his memory. He had previously taken part in marathons and I thought it was something he would be proud of me for doing," said Nicole Olivier. "It was a big challenge but absolutely worth it, and I'd like to thank everyone who sponsored me."
