Progressive rock metal band Influence X to compete in Emergenza final on June 8
Progressive rock band Influence X will take to the stage at Switzerland's Bierhubeli's Hall on Saturday June 8, 2013 to compete in the Emergenza Rock Festival. The Bierhubeli is one of Switzerland's premiere venues.

Influence X hails from Siebnen, Switzerland. The band includes members Ramin Daenzer on vocals, Rodger Iqbal on guitar, Vito Staedler on keyboards, Roger Heim on drums and Ralph Zollinger on bass.
Influence X is an instrumental band that was formed back in 2006. Ralph Zollinger, Rodger Iqbal, Roger Heim and Vito Staedler began the band in 2006 and in 2010 Ramin Dawnzer came on board as their singer and song writer.
Influence X says that they are influenced by different music genres, but that their mainstream trend is progressive metal and progressive rock. They are inspired by the works of Dream Theatre, Symphony X, Riverside, Evergrey and the legendary band Pink Floyd.
On June 8, 2013 Influence X will take the stage to play a thirty minute set of their original music in hopes of moving on in the Emergenza Rock Festival. Influence X's goal is to represent Switzerland in the international finals to be held in Germany on August 11, at the Taubertal Open Air Festival in front of more than 20,000 screaming fans. There they will fight for the right to be called "The Best Band in the World."
