Profit Leap for Software AG in the Third Quarter with U.S. Operations Adding to the Positive Outlook
Q3 total revenue grew double digits compared to the same period in 2009. Year-over-year growth in both product and professional services business. U.S. Operations delivered 22 percent total revenue growth in the first nine months of 2010 compared to 2009.
- Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News, VA-NC (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2010 - Software AG reported significant revenue growth in all business divisions in the third quarter of 2010. U.S. Operations added to the positive outlook delivering double digit growth rates in Q3 compared to the same period in 2009. In particular, the U.S. Operations saw year-over-year growth in both product and professional services business.
The upturn in demand in the Americas, apparent in the first half of 2010, continued in the third quarter. U.S. Operations delivered 22 percent total revenue growth in the first nine months of 2010 compared to 2009.

In the U.S., the Business Process Excellence (webMethods and IDS Scheer) business divisions generated 60 percent of total revenue in the third quarter of 2010, while the traditional Enterprise Transaction Systems (Adabas, Natural) business contributed 40 percent of the total revenue.
