Production Basics Moves Headquarters To Billerica, Massachusetts
Industrial furniture manufacturer, Production Basics, is expanding its Massachusetts based headquarters and moving the facility from Watertown to Billerica, Massachusetts.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) March 30, 2011 - The company has purchased a 60,000 square foot building in the Middlesex Industrial Complex, at 31 Dunham Road.
"The loyalty of our customers and employees has allowed Production Basics to invest in an exceptional property in Billerica," stated Adam Wisnia, President and founder of Production Basics. "Our new facility will allow for increased efficiencies in production so we can continue to offer a quality workstation to our customers, improved service and a better work environment for our employees."
All departments- encompassing welding, CNC machining, fabrication and assembly, powder coating shipping, sales, marketing, customer service and engineering- will be reconfigured to function more efficiently. "We continue to improve our processes and manage the space available to fit our operational needs." says Wisnia.
Production Basics designs and manufactures 99 percent of their products at the Watertown facility.
Approximately two-thirds of products sold are from the standard product line. The remaining products sold are designed and manufactured to customer specifications.
Wisnia established Production Basics in a 2,000 square foot facility in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1995. A successful first year in business required a new home for the company and the facility was moved to Watertown. Since 1996, Production Basics headquarters has been in the industrial complex located at 30 Bridge Street in Watertown, Massachusetts.
