(1888PressRelease) November 09, 2013 - Today, Raveolution Studios announced that Producer/Composer Ricky Kej best known for his chillout lounge albums including KAMASUTRA LOUNGE is a nominee for the sixth Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA)for "Best New Age Song." The nominated track "Forever" is from his 2013 indie release SHANTI ORCHESTRA, which has also been accepted for consideration and placed on The Grammy® Awards long ballot for Best New Age Album.

Kej said, "I'm very happy that my first independent release in the U.S. under Raveolution Studios has been embraced by so many, and I look forward to connecting with new and old friends during this year's awards."

Kej's 2013 foray into the U.S. market as an independent artist has been fortuitous. The Hollywood Music In Media Awards (HMMA) will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at The Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA. This year's event will be hosted by former Matchbox 20 member Adam Gaynor, Oscar nominated actor Eric Roberts and director/writer/producer Andy Fickman. Nominated film scores & composers include Steven Price, Gravity; Henry Jackman, Captain Phillips; Steve Jablonsky, Ender's Game; Mark Isham, 42; and Michael Giaccino, Star Trek Into Darkness to name just a few. Nominees for TV score include Atli Örvarsson, Chicago Fire; Jeff Beal, House of Cards; Christopher Lennertz, Revolution and Nathan Barr, The Americans among others.
