Private Label Products Show 2015 brings India Private Label Industry in the spotlight
PLPS 2015 became the first platform created in India for private label sales in the country. An encouraging 50+ exhibitors took part and connected with more than 2,864 visitors at the 3-day show. Extensive business networking and numerous sales leads defined the overall event.
- (1888PressRelease) August 27, 2015 - PLPS 2015, an exclusive private label products show for India's fast growing retail market was held from 6-8 August 2015 at Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre. The much-awaited show was inaugurated by industry representatives Mr. Sumit Shah, Executive Director, Madhu Jayanti International Limited, Mr. Sushil Nawal and Mr. Suneet Mallik, AVP Marketing, Origami Cellulo Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Shubham Gupta, Director, Vanesa Cosmetics who lit the ceremonious lamp before proceeding to take part in the show.
Creating a fabulous presence at the event were Astaberry Biosciences (I) Pvt. Ltd., Aussee Oats Milling Pvt. Ltd., Cears Consumer Products, Food News International, Forever Body Care Industries, Fresno & Bakersfield India Limited, Herboveda India, Mohani Tea Leaves Pvt. Ltd., Nature Essence, Origami Cellulo Pvt. Ltd., Schiffer And Menezes India Pvt. Ltd., Vanesa Cosmetics and many more.
"Our experience at the show was very good. We had a chance to interact with new customers looking for getting their brand/label made in the country. This provides us with an opportunity to go wider in that horizon", said Suneet Malik, AVP-Marketing, Origami.
Everything from baby products, food products & beverages, cosmetics, apparel, toiletries & soaps and packaging solutions were seen at the show. Modways introduced its new range of high quality notebooks under the brand name MODABOOK while Sri Lankan-based Company Aussee Oats Milling Pvt. Ltd. announced its venture into the Indian market.
The 3-day event attracted 2,864 targeted visitors and representatives from some of the major well-known retail brands in India such as Hypercity Retail, Walmart, Sahara, Spencers, Godrej and Shoppers Stop made a stop by.
The next show will be held for the very first time in Mumbai next year from 28th-30th January, 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon. This will be followed by a show in New Delhi from 29th-31st August 2016.
