Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are chosen to receive this exclusive honor. Rising Stars recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years of age or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. The annual selections are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
