The objective of this webinar (45-minute presentation / 15-minute Q&A) is to support organizations as they look to challenge their supply chains to be more sustainable. It will help organizations to understand key risks in global supply chains and will outline approaches to screening and classifying suppliers. |
Objective Of critical interest in this webinar is an outline of migrant labour issues arising from global labour movements and the critical issues these can cause in supply chains. In the past 12 months, there have been a number of high profile issues that have focused the minds of leading brands as they understand the reputational impacts arising from migrant labour use. We look at how migrant labour can lead to forced or bonded labour and also consider how the UK is looking at new acts of Parliament to help tackle the issues arising from exploitation of migrant labour. Issues arising from migrant labour use are becoming a critical issue in responsible sourcing practice.
