Prince William and Kate Middleton will have a happy and successful marriage

More than 73 per cent of the people who took part in the survey said that their marriage would be long-lasting and happy unlike the marriage of Prince Charles and Diana. Over 70 per cent also felt that Kate Middleton was the right bride for the future king of England. An overwhelming 76 per cent said that the event had attracted a lot of interest in India as well.
Over 70 per cent said that the wedding will boost the image of the British royal family. In fact, an almost equal number of respondents believed that it will have a positive rub-off on England as a whole. Nearly 80 per cent of the respondents said that they had been following the wedding with interest.

The most popular member of the royal family in the survey was none other than the grandmother of Prince William, Queen Elizabeth (with 41 per cent of the votes). Prince William came second with 35 per cent votes followed by Prince Charles and Prince Harry. Sixty one per cent of the respondents wanted William to succeed his grandmother as the next king of England-another indication of his global popularity.
However, the majority of respondents said that the royal wedding was an over-hyped global event. More than 5000 people had participated in the online survey conducted by the website that provides premium matrimony services for the who's who and celebrities of society.
