The Inaugural Eagle Ford Excellence Awards were, in the words of STEER President, Omar Garcia, a way for "recipients to set the standard for good corporate citizenship." Primera Energy LLC, a Texas-bred energy company with a significant presence in the Eagle Ford Shale, was awarded for continued commitment to employee safety.

This recognition comes at a time of great excitement for Primera Energy, which has plans to drill new wells in the Eagle Ford this year.
