JoJo co-hosted the Fox 2006 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Live Pre-Show with Jillian Barberie. He has made multiple appearances on CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" and was a celebrity panelist on NBC's "FAME".
After JoJo broke his arm in a bizarre arm-wrestling accident, the tabloid magazine Star showcased JoJo's "Big Break" with photos from the set of "FAME", as well as X-rays of his arm. JoJo took his wit to an international television audience as the co-creator and host of the U.K. interview special "Grilled" (Trouble Network, 2006). He also serves as first time producer/creator on the reality tv project "Mystery Men" (details tba). JoJo will appear on an upcoming episode of CW's "Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll." He co-hosted the 2003 and 2004 holiday specials "Jingle Ball Rock" on Fox and was a presenter at the Fox 2001 Teen Choice Awards. JoJo played himself on the NBC Saturday morning sitcom "City Guys", showed off his acting skills in "Bring It On: All or Nothing", the pilot "The Mostly Real Vitamin C Reality Show" starring actress/singer Vitamin C and lent his voice for the opening segments of seasons 3 and 4 of VH1's "The Surreal Life". JoJo grew up in Houston, TX and broke into radio at a young age.
Since arriving at KIIS in 1997, JoJo was the winner of the 2003 Radio Music Awards Top 40 Air Personality of the Year, nominated as Top 40 Air Personality of the Year by Radio Music Awards in 2004 and 2005 and Billboard Magazine in 2001. Going into its 8th year, he took JoJo Jam on the road for the first time ever "JoJo Jam Tour."
