Prevention is better than cure for our children
The quest to raise awareness in child burn prevention in schools.
- (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2015 - Sydney, New South Wales: Consolidated Cleaning Services is playing its part in helping reduce the number of children that are victims of burns by raising awareness about burn prevention in educational establishments via its' partnership with charitable organisation, 'The Kids Foundation'. The employees of Consolidated Cleaning Services are also contributing further to the Kids Foundation by raising funds via an annual event - these funds all work towards continuing to implement programs that will reduce the incidence of childhood burn injuries and deaths.
Consolidated has a major focus on identifying safety hazards within all sites it operates in on a daily basis and therefore sees that the programs run by the Kids Foundation are well aligned with the core values of its' business which never compromises on safety.
Consolidated Property Services spokesperson Eliza Hoppe has called for educational establishments to take more action to prevent hazards and to minimize risk for children. She says, "Many families who have children that are victims of burns injuries are often left in a situation where they are unable to support themselves financially following the accident due to the impact it has on the primary carer. Consolidated is committed to the cause as we have seen the direct impact this financial and infrastructure support has on these families - and it is significant."
Many of our staff have families with small children of their own. Through The KIDS Foundation, our staff can commit to developing awareness and contributing to the burns victims through supporting the fundraising events run by Consolidated Property Services.
There are hazards in almost every environment and, as a cleaning company that works in many different situations from commercial office buildings to schools, we are committed to helping both the victims of burns and increasing awareness of issues that might reduce injury in the future.
