Prescient Names Terry Dunn and Susan Anthony to Board of Directors
Appointments bring additional depth and expertise to help guide Prescient through anticipated rapid growth.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) December 13, 2013 - Prescient, a Denver-based software design and structural system manufacturing company, today announced two additions to its Board of Directors: Terry Dunn, president and CEO of JE Dunn Construction, and Susan Anthony, who brings more than 25 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning with Fortune 500 companies.
Dunn joined JE Dunn in 1974 and is currently president and CEO of JE Dunn and JE Dunn Construction Group, Inc., the holding company for JE Dunn Construction Company and other affiliates across the na-tion. Under his leadership, JE Dunn has grown to be one of the nation's leading providers of construction management services, design-build, and integrated project delivery. Its reported revenues of $2.3 billion in 2012 earned JE Dunn a #26 ranking of contractors (out of 400) by Engineering News Record (ENR) Magazine. Dunn is the lead director on the Board of UMB Financial (Nasdaq: UMBF), a member of the Board of Directors of Kansas City Southern Railway (NYSE: KSU) and a former chairman and Board mem-ber of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
Anthony has worked in various finance roles of increasing responsibility at The Pillsbury Company, Häagen Dazs, Duracell and Gillette. Her specialties include strategic planning and analysis, capital planning, opera-tions and international finance. She is a Certified Management Accountant with an MBA in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a BA in Economics from Lawrence University.
Based in Denver, Prescient recently announced plans to expand its manufacturing presence to Houston in 2014 to meet growing demand. Prescient is in the midst of a convertible equity offering and has to date raised $7 million into this round of funding. The company is currently focused on executing against 9 mil-lion sq. ft. of active projects scheduled for completion in 2014 and 2015.
